The digital revolution is now well underway amongst coal mines in the Bowen Basin and the P25 standard has become more entrenched throughout the reigon with the major players of BMC (Poitrel) and BMA (Peak Downs, Daunia, Broadmeadow & Caval Ridge) joining Rio-Tinto (Clermont) in adopting the use of Motorola ASTRO P25 Trunking communication systems.
